Ghost Squad Coming to the Wii (with Online Functionality!)

Ghost Squad is coming to the Wii, it will be an “enhanced” port with online functionality (leader-boards supposedly) and a number of Wii specific modes.

With the Wii remote’s pointer, it’s the best-suited console for lightgun games, unless somebody decides to make a periphrial for the 360 or PS3 that supports all modern TVs (traditional lightguns only work with CRTs).

Sonic 2, Golden Axe 2, and More Confirmed for the Virtual Console

Some smart snooping on Vook’s part has revealed a number of unannounced Sega Megadrive/Genesis classics that are coming to the Wii’s Virtual Console. Among them are games like Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Shining Force. It’s a pretty strong line-up with a number of fantastic games.

Sonic and Mario in the Same Game!!!

It’s finally happened!! As if yesterday’s announcement of the NiGHTS sequel wasn’t enough of a megaton, today we get a game that’s being developed by Sega of Japan, supervised by non other than Shigeru Miyamoto, and it features both Mario and Sonic! It’s being developed for the Wii and DS.

 Hopefully, Smash Bros is next!

Official Nintendo Magazine are hinting at their world exclusive Wii game next issue via a picture of stars that make an outline of what appears to be NiGHTS. Could it really be a sequel to NiGHTS? Could it even be Air NiGHTS?
